A sacred local skate spot, resplendent in concrete and Graffiti becomes a cityscape re-formed in yet more vibrance, chaos and beauty. The ever changing backdrop is pushed further by digital interference to reference the cultural zeitgeist of the place.

Each location reveals more of itself once scrutinised and manipulated through digital intervention. The model is performer in this visual fiction and seemingly re-emerges as one within the hyper-real environment, having been rendered an integral part pf it.

The environment no longer defines our model presentation and her form can illustrate a new reality of image. Distorted colours can re-shape and re-frame the reference, often evolving invented points of view.

Line, tone, form and texture are fully represented in multi-storey car parks therefore presenting as a photographers dream. Pursuing model poses to integrate with this environment is where the excitement begins, well before the digital distortions distort dimensions!

If I had to put a spin on this session then I would say we just went for it to see what would come out in the wash!

The Cumberland Basin is a startling place within and outwardly to the wonders of Brunels Suspension Bridge and the Floating Harbour all around. Rendered a vibrant beauty by technical interference in the digital form.
